Hello Friends,

Two day ago, UPSC has declared the result of Civil Services Prelims Examination 2016.

First of all, congratulations to all those who become successful in getting their names in the final merit list of the Prelims exam and qualified for the next stage i.e. Mains 2016.

Mains 2016 will start from 3rd December 2016. To register for Mains, ‘Detailed Application Form’ (DAF) will be available from 7th October to 20th October.

I on behalf of IASToppers, wish you a best of luck for your next stage in the journey to your destination. Prepare well and be confident to write the exam. May the almighty God bless you with success.

Those who don’t qualify for Mains this year might have a sense of guilt. They might experience the worst moment of their life especially those who think, they worked hard to clear all the stages of examination, but failed to clear the very first stage of it.

Friends, we can understand your mental situation. The feeling of failure amid many expectations is the hardest to bear. But is it the end of your journey? Is it the end of your capability? Is it the full stop to all your expectations and determinations you had when you started preparation for Civil Services?

Definitely No.

All people fail at certain instances in their lives. The only thing that makes them different is how they manage to stand up. So, believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacles.

“Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.”

For this stage of time, all you need is a deep introspection and review of your planning as well as methodology. Good plans cannot be converted in to success with faulty methods.

Expose yourself to lots of different ideas and try lots of different approaches. Don’t confine yourself to the age-old methodologies. Everyone has his/her unique ways to handle the challenges. Try to find your own ways.

It is the sign of maturity of a man who shows courage to accept the failures and don’t feel shy or guilt of them.

Now don’t sit idle and don’t feel the guilt. Come on and wake up to conquer the citadel of UPSC CSE 2017.

IASToppers always with you. We seek your sincere efforts to “Awaken The Giant Within”
